Last week saw the 160th anniversary of the battle of Pukehinahina Gate Pā and coinciding with the anniversary was the release of the documentary NZ Wars Stories of Tauranga Moana the 5th in a series of multi-media documentaries telling the history of the New Zealand Wars, produced by Aotearoa Media Collective and Great Southern Television for RNZ. Koro Nicholas, he uri nō Tauranga Moana, was involved in the documentary and he joins Māpuna this week.
