Every now and then, music happens when you least expect it.
Like when you’re walking down the street and hear someone practising. Someone pretty good.
That's what happened to RNZ Concert’s Three to Seven host, Bryan Crump.
On his way to work, he began noticing a rather good clarinettist practising in the Smile Design dental surgery on the ground floor of RNZ House in Wellington.
Bryan followed his ears, all the way to André Nowicki’s dentist chair, to find out more about his clarinet playing and his Polish dance band, Krackerjack – perhaps one of the first of its kind in New Zealand.
Krackerjack will be performing as part of a fundraiser for the earthquake strengthening of the Polish Association in NZ Inc clubrooms in Newtown, Wellington on Saturday 22 July 2023.
