A boat capsize in Malawi, in eastern Africa, has left at least 47 people dead.
Police say those who died were apparently trying to enter northern Malawi illegally from Tanzania when their boat overturned in Lake Malawi. Many on board may have been Ethiopians.
Officers said they believed the boat capsized on Monday night. Bodies were discovered on Wednesday floating in the water.
