Papua New Guinea and Samoa can take a big step towards a place in the Rugby League World Cup knockout rounds when they go head to head in Hull on Tuesday morning.
The Pacific rivals have had eight days rest since opening round defeats to France and New Zealand.
Kumuls prop Enoch Maki says they defended well against France but were guilty of not converting all of their chances on attack.
He says despite only being their second match of the tournament it already feels like sudden death.
"This game is a must win for us so if we win this game we are a chance to go into the finals so we will give everything to Samoa. Mal and Adrian [have us] well prepared so we are confident to win this game. We are known for playing physical game so we will do that. Our strengths on defence we will defend that and we will actually put some tries in there."
