Solomon Islands Former Prime Minister ,Sir Allan Kemakeza, has criticised the current and previous government for failing to

finish the Honiara campus of the University of the South Pacific.

Speaking in parliament, Sir Allan said the benefits for the country would be enormous.

He said developing the campus would bring money into the country and cut back the government's huge budget to finance scholarships overseas.

Mr Kemakeza raised his concerns after it was revealed in the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee that the project was not a priority for the government in the next year.
