The environmental organisation, Earth Island Institute, will know by today whether it can halt the export of 30 live dolphins from Solomon Islands to Dubai.
The Pacific Director of the organisation, Lawrence Makili, says their lawyer is working on filing a court injunction to stop the dolphin export.
Mr Makili says Solomon Islands will be condemned heavily once it allows the export to proceed which is now expected to happen tomorrow.
He says the country has the choice of saving the country's tuna industry and its 2,000-strong force or the interest of one individual.
Solomon Islands Marine Mammal Education Centre and exporters confirm that the loading of the dolphins will commence this afternoon and continue tomorrow.
