The Solomon islands High Court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the murder of another man almost two years ago.
John Tana and three other men were charged with the shooting of Andrew Neeada on Lodo Island in October 2001.
The presiding judge, Frank Kabui, released the three other men saying there was insufficient evidence against them.
